20 Feb Note Regarding Sibling Priority for Lotteries on 2/27

This message is intended for parents who have applied to PUC Milagro Charter School or any of the PUC schools located in the San Fernando Valley for the 2020-2021 school year. As a reminder, the lottery for the school(s) you applied to will be held on Thursday, February 27th at 4 PM at each school site.

As you may know, when we run our lotteries, there are different priorities that we take into account, such as neighborhood priorities and “children of employees” priorities. One of the most common priorities is the sibling priority.

If your child has a sibling who is currently enrolled at the school that your child is applying to, be sure that you have answered “yes” to the sibling question in your application before the end of the day tomorrow, when the lottery window closes.

Please note: for the purpose of the lotteries, PUC Community Charter Middle School & PUC Community Charter Early College High School are considered one school. PUC Triumph Charter Academy & PUC Triumph Charter High School are considered one school as well.

Este mensaje está dirigido a los padres que han solicitado ingreso a la PUC Milagro Charter School o cualquiera de las escuelas PUC ubicadas en el Valle de San Fernando para el año escolar 2020-2021. Como recordatorio, la lotería para la (s) escuela (s) que solicitó se realizará el jueves 27 de febrero a las 4 PM en cada escuela.

Como usted ya sabe, cuando llevamos a cabo nuestras loterías, hay diferentes prioridades que tomamos en cuenta, como las prioridades del vecindario y si los estudiantes son o no son hijos de empleados. Una de las prioridades más comunes es la prioridad de los hermanos. Si su hijo tiene un hermano(a) que está actualmente inscrito en la escuela a la cual su hijo está solicitando, asegúrese de que usted haya respondido “sí” a la pregunta de hermanos en su solicitud antes del final del día de mañana, cuando se cerrará la ventana de la lotería.

Tenga en cuenta que: para el propósito de las loterías, PUC Community Charter Middle School & PUC Community Charter Early College High School se consideran como una escuela. Además, PUC Triumph Charter Academy & PUC Triumph Charter High School también se consideran como una escuela.
