We in PUC are appalled by the action taken by President Trump to rescind DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals). The Dreamers in this country are making vital contributions to our communities, cities, and society overall and we must advocate for them. Now is the time for all of us to make our voices heard. It is time for all of us to reach out to our elected officials and demand they take immediate action to create a permanent solution for this issue that has caused these outstanding young people so much angst. Act now!
