Rochester, N.Y. — A school dance that, theoretically, the whole community helped take part in.
PUC Achieve Charter School in Rochester held a dance for 5th and 6th grade girls. They were escorted by male members of their family, from fathers to uncles to brothers. They were also taken to the gala in a limo, wearing dresses donated or bought by members of the community. The Rochester Fairy Godmothers helped donate the dresses for Saturday’s event.
