25 Aug Welcome to the 2017-2018 School Year!
Dear PUC Community Charter Elementary Families:
We are extremely excited to see our young scholars return to school on Monday, August 28th! We hope you had a wonderful and relaxing summer. We are ready to kick off the year and have been working hard to ensure that our teachers and staff are ready for when our students return to school.
We are looking forward to a continued partnership with you to ensure our children can reach their highest potential. Our children’s success is dependent on our work together, as well as the support from both the home and school.
In order to start the school year strong, please make sure that your child attends school every day and arrives on time ready to learn. We will continue to send monthly calendars and weekly reminders to inform parents of any upcoming events. We hope that you take advantage of the opportunities to get involved; we invite you to play an active role and join us at our Coffee with the Principal sessions, participate as classroom volunteers, or as special event participants. Studies show that parent participation in their child’s school is linked to academic success for their child, even if it is a small amount. In addition, it helps to create a warm environment at school, bridges the home and school, and allows children to see the value of education through their parent’s eyes. Please be on the lookout for these opportunities, and feel free to contact the office for more information.
As parents and school staff, we have a common goal, and we are both working hard to ensure your child excels in their educational journey. Know that our open door policy still stands, and please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns.

Estamos listos para comenzar el año y hemos estado trabajando duro para asegurar que nuestros maestros y el personal están listos para cuando nuestros estudiantes regresen a la escuela.
Esperamos una asociación continua con usted para asegurar que nuestros hijos puedan alcanzar su máximo potencial. El éxito de nuestros hijos depende de nuestro trabajo en conjunto, así como del apoyo tanto del hogar como de la escuela.
