Dear PUC Community Charter Elementary Families:
Welcome to the 2019 – 2020 School Year! We are excited to kick off this new school year and know we have so many great moments ahead; we are ready to celebrate all the successes that this year has in store for us! We would like to welcome our new families. We are thrilled that you have joined the PUC Community Charter Colt Family and we look forward to collaborating with you to support your child in and out of the classroom.
As many of you know, I welcomed a new baby this summer and will be on maternity leave for a couple of months. Mrs. Cuellar, our Assistant Principal, will serve as the Interim Principal while I am on leave. Mrs. Cuellar has been at PUC Community Charter Elementary for many years now and will do an amazing job leading our school. Assisting Mrs. Cuellar is Mrs. Mendoza, who as you know, is no stranger to the administrative team at our school site. Mrs. Mendoza serves as the Visual Arts Teacher and has been a great support to the administrative team for several years.
Our mission continues to be the same. We strive to provide students with the tools they need to become life-long learners and critical thinkers that will succeed as they move on to middle school and beyond, and inspire others to do the same. Our students are our top priority and we strongly believe that each child has the potential to succeed. Our goal is for our students to reach grade level proficiency (and beyond), and we will continue to tailor the instruction in the classroom to meet the needs of every child. Parents, please remember that we are in this together; we share a mutual goal, and that is for your child to succeed.

Estimadas familias de PUC Community Charter Elementary,
¡Bienvenido al año escolar 2019 – 2020! Estamos entusiasmados de comenzar este año escolar y sabemos que tenemos muchos buenos momentos por delante; ¡Estamos listos para celebrar todos los éxitos que este año nos traerá! Nos gustaría dar la bienvenida a nuestras nuevas familias. Estamos encantados de que se hayan unido a la familia de PUC Community Charter y esperamos colaborar con ustedes para apoyar a su hijo/a dentro y fuera del salón.
Como muchos de ustedes saben, le di la bienvenida a un nuevo bebé este verano y estaré de baja por maternidad por un par de meses. La Sra. Cuéllar, nuestra subdirectora, servirá como directora interina mientras estoy fuera. La Sra. Cuellar ha estado en PUC Community Charter Elementary durante muchos años y hará un trabajo increíble al dirigir nuestra escuela. Ayudando a la Sra. Cuellar es la Sra. Mendoza, quien como saben, no es extranjera al equipo administrativo de nuestra escuela. La Sra. Mendoza es maestra de artes visuales y ha sido un gran apoyo para el equipo administrativo durante varios años.
Nuestra misión sigue siendo la misma. Nos esforzamos por proporcionar a los estudiantes las herramientas que necesitan para convertirse en aprendices de por vida y pensadores críticos que tendrán éxito a medida que avanzan a la escuela intermedia y más allá, e inspirar a otros a hacer lo mismo. Nuestros estudiantes son nuestra principal prioridad y creemos firmemente que cada niño tiene el potencial de tener éxito. Nuestro objetivo es que nuestros estudiantes alcancen el dominio del nivel de grado (y más allá), y continuaremos adaptando la instrucción en el salón para satisfacer las necesidades de cada niño. Padres, por favor recuerden que estamos juntos en esto; compartimos un objetivo mutuo, y es que su hijo tenga éxito.
