PUC Community Charter Early College High School is named L.A. County Top Public School for closing the opportunity gap for low-income Latino students!
PUC Community Charter Early College High School (PUC CCECHS) is among 300 schools throughout Los Angeles County that are closing the opportunity gap for low-income African American and Latino students. The list of schools is published in the 2020 Top Los Angeles County Public Schools report, published by Innovate Public Schools – Los Angeles, a non-profit committed to helping kids and their families access quality education, and the University of Southern California (USC).
These Top Schools are closing the opportunity gap for low-income African American and Latino students by exceeding statewide average scores in English Language Arts and mathematics.
Now more than ever, we must acknowledge the schools who are closing the gap for low income students of color, whose population was hit the hardest from the coronavirus pandemic.
